East Coventry will be standing up for a drug free America during the nation’s most important drug prevention event, Red Ribbon Week! The purpose is to deliver a powerful message encouraging all of our students to make smart, drug free choices. Everyone will be given a red ribbon to wear for the week and each day will have a different theme. Our announcements each morning will include a message related to that day’s theme.
Monday 10/28 – - Pink out to keep the drugs out!!!-Wear Pink. OJR school district is wearing pink today to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
Tuesday 10/29- Life is crazy enough! Don’t do drugs!-Crazy socks day!
Wednesday 10/30 – Hats off to being drug free! Wear your favorite or most crazy hat!
Thursday 10/31- Say Boo to drugs! Happy Halloween!
Friday 11/1-Team up against drugs! Wear your favorite sports gear!
*Students can fill out a raffle ticket each day they dress according to theme on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Ten winning tickets will be drawn on those three days with small prizes given.
